Abstract

The invention discloses a Chinese medicinal composition for treating the chronic radiodermatitis. Traditional Chinese medicine thinks that radioactive rays belong to fire heat toxin; sores and ulcers, which are caused by heat evil is the basic disease cause of the radiodermatitis; the radiodermatitis has the basic pathogenesis of yin deficiency serving as the root cause and dry heat serving as the symptom; and deficient root and excessive superficiality run through the whole disease. The Chinese medicinal composition adopts the following traditional Chinese medicines which have the main effects of clearing away heat and toxic materials and activating blood and dissolving stasis and the auxiliary effects of nourishing yin, benefiting qi and tonifying deficiency: Chinese lizardtail rhizome, ford nervilia leaf, daghestan sweetclover herb, geranium wilfordii, yellowfruit nightshade root fruit and seed, brookside astilbe, tricephalous kyllinga herb, smoothfruit ventilago root and stem, ginkgo root, tendrilleaf solomonseal rhizome, chorion ovi and Asiatic alectoria filament. The Chinese medicinal composition is decocted into decoction by water. By clinical experiments, the Chinese medicinal composition has the total effective rate of 97.4 percent and has an obvious curative effect.
