Abstract

The invention relates to a lighting module (10) for an outdoor light (100), having a receiving portion (20) for a circuit board, at least one circuit board (30) that is arranged in said circuit board receiving portion (20) and that comprises at least one lighting means (32), particularly in the form of an LED, as well as a cover (40) covering, in a liquid-tight manner, both the circuit board receiving portion (20) and the circuit board (30) located therein, and comprising a light-permeable closure pane (41). At least one ventilation opening (42) is arranged in said cover (40) and is covered by an air-permeable, liquid-blocking compensating membrane (50). This lighting module is particularly reliable in operation if the cover (40) has a drip edge (44) surrounding at least some sections of the compensating membrane (50) and keeping water that runs along the cover (40) from coming into contact with said compensating membrane (50).
