Problems solved by technology

Today, in rural Africa, where malaria is highly endemic, international aid agencies distribute insecticide-treated nets to residents to protect them from Anopheles mosquito bites while sleeping, and spray homes, livestock pens, and green spaces to kill hidden Anopheles mosquitoes. Mosquitoes, the effect of repelling mosquitoes and killing mosquitoes is temporary, and the use of insecticides also wiped out natural enemies such as geckos and frogs, which will cause the next round of crazy breeding of Anopheles mosquitoes

Abstract

A device for capturing anopheles through geckoes by means of controlling breeding of the anopheles comprises a battery panel top cover, a trap lamp, an upper window, a gecko cave, a wall, a lower window, a toad cave, a sand layer, a grass land, a green fence, cave openings, a grass pile, an egg-laying table and an inner side wall. The wall is arranged on the periphery of the grass land. The trap lamp is arranged below the battery panel top cover at the top of the wall. The upper window is arranged on the upper portion of the wall and the lower window is arranged on the lower portion of the wall. The gecko cave with the cave opening facing downwards is formed in the inner wall of the wall. The grass pile is arranged in the wall. The toad cave for aestivation and hibernation of toads is formed in the lower portion of the grass pile. A water seepage hole is formed in the pipe wall of the toad cave and the lower portion of the toad cave is filled with the sand layer. The green fence is arranged outside the wall so that a plant landscape can be formed. In the morning, when the anopheles fly into the grass pile for a rest from the upper window, the anopheles are captured and eaten by the hidden geckoes; at night, the trap lamp is automatically switched on to induce the anopheles and various insects, so that the anopheles and the insects are eaten by the geckoes and the toads. Devices are widely arranged in countries in Africa, wherein malaria is highly epidemic in countries in Africa. The geckoes and the toads which are the natural enemies of the anopheles are used for capturing and killing the anopheles, so that the malaria is prevented from being spread and popularized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of controlling malaria transmission, in particular to a gecko mosquito trapping device for controlling the reproduction of anopheles mosquitoes. Background technique [0002] Anopheles mosquito bites people or animals and transmits falciparum malaria, which is the most harmful sanitary pest to human health. It is well known that the prevention and control of transmission vectors and the elimination of Anopheles mosquitoes are important measures to prevent the spread of malaria. It is known that in nature, geckos and toads live by preying on small flying insects such as mosquitoes and flies. Following the example of nature, using natural enemies geckos and toads to catch and kill Anopheles is harmless and meets environmental protection requirements. However, in the food chain of nature, geckos and toads in the wild may be preyed on by natural enemies larger than them at any time while preying on mosquitoes. ...
