Problems solved by technology

The structure of a conventional superconducting rotor causes heat loss in the complex flow paths formed on the outside
In addition, the conventional superconducting rotor is equipped with a circulator and flow passages through which the refrigerant flows, so its structure is complicated and will increase the cause of failure

Abstract

The present invention relates to a conduction-cooled superconducting rotating machine, comprising: a cryocooler; a rotary shaft having a circumferential hole for accommodating the cryocooler such that the cryocooler is spaced apart from the rotary shaft, the rotary shaft transmitting rotating power; and a vacuum chamber, both ends of which have circumferential holes, the circumferential holes having inner surfaces coupled to the outer surface of the rotary shaft such that the vacuum chamber and the rotary shaft can rotate together. The vacuum chamber includes: a first heat-transfer element and a second heat-transfer element which are connected to the cryocooler; and a heat-transfer unit for conducting heat to the cryocooler through the first and second heat-transfer elements. The vacuum chamber is sequentially cooled in a connection portion for interconnecting the first and second heat-transfer elements and the cryocooler. Accordingly, the rotating machine of the present invention has the cryocooler arranged therein in order to simplify an external refrigerant flow line, thus reducing heat loss by simplifying the refrigerant flow line and shortening the distance between the cryocooler and a superconductive wire material, thereby enabling conduction cooling.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a conduction-cooled superconducting rotor, and more particularly to a conduction-cooled superconducting rotor including a refrigerator therein to simplify external refrigerant piping and thereby reduce heat loss and shorten refrigerators and superconducting wires distance between them to enable conduction cooling. Background technique [0002] In general, a superconducting rotor uses a superconductor in an exciting coil in a generator or a motor and a superconductor corresponding to a conductor exhibiting a superconducting phenomenon in which a resistance value reaches 0 at a very low temperature. In a superconductor, when the temperature increases, the resistance increases and the current decreases, while when the temperature decreases, the resistance decreases and conduction is good. In particular, a superconductor corresponds to a material whose resistance value reaches 0 when the temperature drops to an extremely l...
