Abstract

A method for setting up a wireless outbound link through a serving base station (BS) in a cooperative communication system is provided. The method includes: receiving a measurement result report message including measurement results for each of the serving BS and neighboring BSs; at least one neighboring BS in the outbound link; and performing a wireless outbound link setup operation with the at least one neighboring BS.
