Embodiment

[0090] Such as figure 1 As shown, the energy-constrained region-growing ultrasonic image automatic segmentation method of this embodiment includes the following steps:

[0091] (1) Preprocess the original ultrasound images (as shown in Figure 3(a), Figure 4(a), where 3(a) is the ultrasound image of liver hemangioma, and Figure 4(a) is the ultrasound image of liver cyst) to generate superpixels ; The preprocessing is: first denoising the image, then over-segmenting the denoising image to generate superpixels;

[0092] Since the ultrasonic image contains a lot of speckle noise, artifacts, etc., which will cause great interference to the ultrasonic image segmentation, it is necessary to denoise the original image before the segmentation process. In this embodiment, the Speckle Reducing Anisotropic Diffusion (SRAD) algorithm [Yu Y, Acton S T. Speckle reducing anisotropic diffusion] is selected for denoising. Figure 3(b) and Figure 4(b) are the renderings of Figure 3(a) and Figur...

Abstract

The invention discloses a region growth ultrasound image automation segmentation method based on energy constraint. The method comprises the following steps: (1) preprocessing is performed on an original ultrasound image, (2) automatic selection of a seed point is performed on the ultrasound image after the preprocessing, and (3) the seed point obtained in the step (2) is used to be taken as a start point of region growth, constrained growth is performed under an energy function, the growth stops when a constraint condition is reached, and then a final segmentation result is obtained. The obtained segmentation result is accurate, the segmentation process needs no artificial participation, fully automatic ultrasound image segmentation is really achieved, and subsequent processing such as focal region characteristic extraction is facilitated.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of ultrasonic image processing, in particular to an energy-constrained region-growing ultrasonic image automatic segmentation method. Background technique [0002] In the ultrasonic computer-aided diagnosis system, the first thing to realize is to extract the space-occupying lesion area from the complex background of the ultrasonic image, so as to further analyze, monitor and treat the lesion. Image segmentation is the key step to realize this function. At present, there are very few studies on the automatic segmentation of space-occupying lesions in ultrasound images. Most of the studies skip these steps directly and rely on manual outline of the edges, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive, and is far from meeting the requirements of computer-aided diagnosis. Therefore, effective ultrasonic image automatic segmentation technology is not only of great significance for post-processing and diagnosis, bu...
