Abstract

The invention discloses a model detection method based on information hiding for a graph transformation system. The model detection method comprises the following steps that the system is divided into two layers; a visible part is defined as the first layer; an internal part is defined as the second layer; a global type graph of the system is constructed; all nodes in the global type graph of the system are marked; the visible part and the internal part are distinguished by background regions with different colors; each node has a visible part including a hierarchical structure which describes an interface of the node relative to the current layer in the hierarchical structure; each node also has an internal part which describes a detailed structure of the node in a lower abstract layer; a set of rules is defined to describe the behaviour of the system; and the graph transition system is verified by using an assumption-assurance technology. By means of the method, the number of states in the verification process can be reduced by utilizing the concepts of the hierarchical structure and the information hiding, such that the state space explosion problem can be relieved; the hierarchical structure is processed by utilizing the assumption-assurance technology; and the problem that the existing verification method cannot be used for verifying the graph transformation system with the hierarchical structure can be solved.
