Abstract

According to the method, the rat is narcotized by aether and hung on an iron stand, a tongue of the rat is clamped and pulled out of a mouth by tweezers coating with gauze, a glottis is found under the exposure of a laryngoscope, a nose of the rate is squeezed to enable the rat to breathe by the mouth, a pipette with the sucked instillation medicine is inserted into the glottis quickly with the opening and closing of the glottis, and the medicine is instilled into a trachea. The pipette is taken out, a user squeeze the nose continuously for 3-8 seconds to enable the instillation medicine to be inhaled automatically through the breath of the rat, and the instillation is successful when the user hears moist rale. The accurate, quick and noninvasive method for instilling the rat has the advantages of being noninvasive, free of pain, economical, quick and accurate and has remarkable advantages compared with other instillation methods.
