Abstract

The novel debris flow provenance dam break experiment water tank device comprises a support, a stilling basin, a water tank, an overflow device, a water supply device and a waste pool, wherein the stilling basin and the water tank are sequentially fixed on the support and are in end-to-end connection; the overflow device is arranged in the stilling basin; the water supply device is arranged under the support and is used for providing water to the stilling basin; and the waste pool is arranged at an outlet of the water tank and is used for receiving muddy water. The overflow device divides the inner space of the stilling basin into a processing region and an overflow region, wherein the processing region is internally provided with a lattice wall for adjusting the water flow state. The overflow device comprises a vertical steel plate vertically welded to the bottom portion of the stilling basin and an arc-shaped steel plate welded tangently with the vertical steel plate. The water supply device comprises a water box for providing a water source, a water pump for pumping water and a flexible pipe for conveying the water flow.
