Abstract

The invention discloses a chopped basalt fiber reinforced ABS resin composite material, a preparation method and application thereof. The composite material comprises the following formula components in percentage by weight: 70 to 90 percent of ABS resin, 5 to 30 percent of basalt fiber, 1 to 5 percent of SAN resin, 1 to 5 percent of compatibilizer, 0.1 to 1 percent of antioxidant, and 0.1 to 3 percent of lubricant, wherein the basalt fiber has a length of 3 to 6 mm and a diameter of 10 to 16 mum. The chopped basalt fiber reinforced ABS resin composite material provided by the embodiment of the invention has excellent appearance and 60-degree angle glossiness of more than 38%.
