Problems solved by technology

This scheme has realized the informatization management of museum collections to a certain extent, but it also has obvious shortcomings: 1) The scheme focuses on the input, processing and management of collection resources itself, and almost ignores the spatial geographic information related to collections
2) The management of collections should also include real-time monitoring of the environmental information of each cultural relic, such as temperature, humidity, light, air conditions, etc.; these are crucial to the protection of collections, but the current collection management system based on RFID is only An isolated system that manages the collection's own attribute information does not work effectively with other systems such as the sensor network system, video surveillance system, and museum department personnel management system in the entire museum's collection management, and the management is not comprehensive.
The UHF RFID system has a long recognition distance, fast recognition speed, and can penetrate obstacles for recognition, but its work will be disturbed in an environment with conductive media such as metal. At this time, it is not feasible to manage collections only by RFID technology of

Abstract

The invention discloses a system and method for intelligently managing museum collections based on the Internet of Things and indoor GIS. The system includes a system management platform, a data warehouse, RFID labels, museum environmental factor sensors, mobile terminals and a GIS vector electronic map. The museum environmental factor sensors are arranged in the periphery of museum collections. The RFID labels are arranged on the museum. The museum environmental factors are intended for acquiring environment information of the museum collections, transmitting the environment information to a management platform, and storing the environment information to the data warehouse. The mobile terminals acquire the information of the museum collections by reading the RFID labels. The GIS vector electronic map is intended for managing, updating and maintaining data pertaining to internal architectural structure of the museum, organizational structure of the museum and the geographical position and spatial layout of various collections in combination of the data warehouse, and providing the positioning and navigation in the museum. According to the invention, the system increases the capacity of managing the museum and working efficiency of management workers.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of intelligent management, and relates to a museum collection intelligent management system and method, in particular to an intelligent museum collection management system and method based on the Internet of Things and indoor GIS. Background technique [0002] The museum has the functions of collection preservation, display research, publicity and education, and all activities of the museum are carried out around cultural relics. Through the collection, protection, research and display of cultural relics, it is one of the core tasks of museums to discover their historical, scientific and artistic value. Therefore, the level of collection management directly affects the development of various activities of the museum, determines the social and economic benefits of the museum, and plays a pivotal role in the work of the museum. With the rapid development of modern museums, how to realize scientific, effective...
