Embodiment Construction

[0033] figure 1 A perspective view of an inventive plug housing according to a preferred embodiment of the invention is shown.

[0034] The plug housing 1 for the sensor device 10 has a connector 12 and a cover 14 which is connected to the connector by means of fastening means 16 . Furthermore, the cover 14 has a connecting sleeve 20 for connecting a plug. The fastening device 16 is preferably designed as a latching device. Alternatively, the fastening device 16 can also be formed by a clamping device, for example.

[0035] The plug that can be connected to the connecting sleeve 20 passes through (in figure 1 A plurality of electrically conductive contact pins 18 and the electrical contacts of the sensor device 10 that are assigned to these contact pins are electrically connected to the sensor device 10 .

Abstract

A plug module includes a sensor device and a plug housing, the plug housing including a socket, an inner side of which includes a receptacle area for accommodating the sensor device, and a cover that is connected to the socket with the aid of a fastening device, where a plurality of electrically conductive straight contact pins are introduced into the cover in such a way that (a) particular first ends of the contact pins protrude into an internal volume of the plug housing and are situated above the receptacle area of the socket, and (b) particular second ends of the contact pins are situated in the area of a connector of the cover.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a plug housing and a plug module for a sensor device. Background technique [0002] Today's pressure sensors installed in the intake tract of internal combustion engines are secondary housings with analog or digital interfaces road structure sensors. Typically, the sensor consists of a pressure sensor module, usually in the form of a preformed housing which is brazed or welded into the secondary housing at more or less cost. Necessary passive components such as auxiliary capacitors are either bonded to the preformed module or installed in the secondary housing. [0003] Additionally, an NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient, negative temperature coefficient) detector for temperature measurement is installed. In the analog variant, the NTC detector is led directly outwards via a plug. In the digital variant, the NTC detector is connected to an ASIC for analytical processing. [0004] To ensure media stability, all exposed ...
