Abstract

The invention provides an automatic extraction method and device for stable characteristics of a power system. The method includes: determining sample input quantity and classification number of a logistic regression training model and defining a superparameter set; defining cost function containing LASSO penalty terms and updating a logistic regression parameter matrix theta in the cost function with the LASSO penalty terms by the aid of an iteration method; selecting the logistic regression training model generated by the maximum superparameter with the error rate smaller than a threshold in the superparameter set as the optimum model; taking the maximum value of sum of the row vector absolute value of the logistic regression parameter matrix theta as the stable characteristics of a power grid. The critical clearing time (CCT) of the stabilization rate of the logistic regression parameter model on expected failure of the power grid is matched, the penalty items of 1 norm of the parameter matrix theta are added in the cost function, and the main characteristics are highlighted; the stable characteristics are automatically extracted.
