The invention discloses a microgrid operation method based on bid balance, comprising: acquiring, by microgrid bidding unit agents, microgrid internal cleared electricity, optimizing with the goal of achieving maximum value of a profit function, and seeking for a bidding function capable of acquiring optimal power generation; solving, by a microgrid bidding management agent, a new microgrid internal power price and generation scheduling scheme on condition of supply-demand balance according to the reported bidding function, issuing a new microgrid internal power price to all microgrid bidding unit agents, updating the profit function according to the new power price, re-deciding a bidding function, reporting again the bidding function to the bidding management agent in order to calculate a power price and generation distribution, repeating the above steps until the power price converges, and using a converged value as a microgrid internal clearing power price; determining the final internal clearing power price as a final microgrid power generation scheme. The power generation distribution scheme acquired herein allows power generation total cost of microgrid distributed power supplies to be optimized to arrive at economical operation of a microgrid.
