The processing system comprises an FPGA data processing module, a storage, a USB chip and a power supply panel; the FPGA data processing module is used for processing data information; the storage is used for accessing programs or data of the FPGA-based multi-channel video processing system, wherein the storage is a data storage, and connected to an FPGA; the USB chip is connected with the FPGA, and sends an I2C control signal; and the power supply panel is connected with the FPGA and a module to be detected, and used for supplying power to the FPGA-based multi-channel video processing system and the module to be detected. By means of the FPGA-based multi-channel video processing system and method disclosed by the invention, data acquiring, transmitting and processing of multiple camera modules can be carried out at the same time; therefore, the detection efficiency is increased; and the detection process is reduced.
