Abstract

The invention discloses a fault disposal method and device for a storage system. A management mechanism based on Sanlock is applied in the storage system. Different lock failure management strategies are provided based on Sanlock to classify different fault information of the storage system into different levels of faults types and use the lease contract of Sanlock to isolate the different levels of fault types. At the same time, corresponding disposals are provided aiming at different levels of fault types. Therefore, the fault disposal method and device for the storage system provides a complete solution to possible faults in a storage system, and the stability of the whole virtualized system is greatly enhanced.
