The invention discloses a VNF state detecting notification method, a VNF state detecting notification device and a VNF state detecting notification system, wherein the method, the device and the system relate to the field of network function virtualization, wherein the method comprises the steps of performing unified state detection on a VNF network element by a VNFM, determining whether the state of the VNF changes, wherein the VNF states comprise a fault state and a fault recovery state; if the state of a certain VNF changes, determining the current state of the VNF; and reporting the current state of the VNF to an NFVO so that the NFVO updates network topology according to the current state of the VNF and furthermore notifies the updated network topology to other VNFs and VNFMs. According to the method, the device and the system provided by the invention, unified detection is performed on the VNF state, thereby realizing simple operation, reducing a large amount of heartbeat information between the VNFs, saving network resource, realizing consistent disaster recovery and bypass operations of the VNF, and realizing dynamic representation of VNF network topology and automatic recovery operation of the NFVO.
