Abstract

The invention discloses an air sounding data-based northern hemisphere troposphere delay correction method comprising the following steps: in step S1, troposphere delay of air sounding data at an observation station is calculated and denoted as ZTD0; in step S2, a Hopfield model is used for calculating the troposphere delay which is then denoted as ZTD(H); in step S3, latitude and day-of-year information of the observation station is increased based on a Hopfield model formula, and a non-linear equation is built; in step S4, the troposphere delay ZTD0 calculated via the step S1 is taken as a truth value, a least square method is used for determining all coefficients of the non-linear equation, a final improvement model equation can be determined, and precision of the equation is verified. Compared with a conventional Hopfield model and a conventional Saastamoinen model, the method disclosed in the invention is advantaged by effectively improved calculation precision.
