Embodiment Construction

[0028] A device for transmitting torque from an internal combustion engine (not shown) to accessories of the motor vehicle is generally designated with 1 . In the exemplary embodiment shown, the accessory device is a compressor of an air-conditioning system, for which compressor housing 2 is shown. The accessory has an accessory shaft, that is to say in the exemplary embodiment a compressor shaft 3 , which is to be driven by means of the device 1 via a belt drive. The belt drive is driven by a belt reel arranged on the crankshaft of the motor vehicle, said belt reel being in driving connection with the belt reel 4 of the device 1 via a drive belt, not shown. The tape reel 4 is mounted rotatably on the compressor housing 2 or on the lateral projection 2 a of the compressor housing 2 via a bearing 5 .

[0029] In order to be able to transmit torque from the belt reel 4 to the compressor shaft 2 and to be able to interrupt this transmission when the compressor is damaged and the...

Abstract

The invention relates to a device for transmitting a torque from an internal combustion engine to an auxiliary unit, in particular to a compressor of an air conditioning system of a motor vehicle, comprising an auxiliary unit shaft and a belt pulley that is arranged on the auxiliary unit housing in such a way that the belt pulley can rotate, wherein the belt pulley and the auxiliary unit shaft are connected to each other by means of an overload safety mechanism, wherein the overload safety mechanism is designed in such a way that the connection between the belt pulley and the auxiliary unit shaft is interrupted when a specified torque is exceeded, wherein the overload safety mechanism has a spring disk having a plurality of spring arms, which are connected at ends thereof to connecting elements of a disk-shaped driver for conjoint rotation until the specified torque is reached. The problem addressed by the invention is the improvement of said device in such a way that the construction of said device is significantly simplified, the design of the response behavior of the overload safety mechanism is improved, and loads in the direction of the axis of rotation are avoided. This problem is solved in that each connecting element of the driver (7) is designed as a pocket-shaped receptacle (11) in the driver (7), wherein the end (10a) of the particular spring arm (10) lies against a contact surface (12) of the pocket-shaped receptacle (11) in a force-locked manner under spring stress, wherein each pocket-shaped receptacle (11) is designed as a hook-shaped web (13) that is cut out from the driver (7) in some regions.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a device for transmitting torque from an internal combustion engine to an accessory, in particular a compressor of an air-conditioning system of a motor vehicle, said device having an accessory shaft and being rotatably arranged in an accessory housing The reel on the reel, the reel and the auxiliary equipment shaft are connected to each other by an overload protection device, the overload protection device is configured so that when the torque exceeds a predetermined torque, the connection between the reel and the auxiliary equipment shaft is interrupted, and the overload The protective device has a spring disk with a plurality of spring arms which are connected at the end sides in a rotationally fixed manner to the connecting element of the disk-shaped entrainment until the predetermined torque is reached. Background technique [0002] In motor vehicles equipped with air-conditioning systems, the compressor of the air-conditi...
