Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: naturally reducing the water temperature of a silvery pomfret parents culturing pond to an interval of 12 to 13 DEG C, and keeping the water temperature at 12 to 13 DEG C for one week through heating; increasing the water temperature of the culturing pond to 18 to 19 DEG C according to an increasing amplitude of 0.4 to 0.6 DEG C every day; keeping the water temperature in the culture pond at 18 to 19 DEG C till the middle ten days and the last ten days of April in the next year, so as to ensure spawning and fertilization of silvery pomfret parents. The method can effectively promote the accumulation of nutrient in gonad tissues of the pomfret parents, obvioussy increases gonad index, fertilized egg quality and hatching rate, and finally improves the reproductive performance of silvery pomfret.
