The invention provides an assistant management software system based on vmware virtualization. The system comprises a data collection layer, a data processing layer and a data application layer. The work of the data collection layer comprises the steps of calling a vcenter interface through a virtualization data collector; and collecting configuration and performance data of calculation resources, network resources and storage resources; the work of the data processing layer comprises the steps of analyzing virtualization data and IT monitoring data collected by the collection layer; summarizing the virtualization data and the IT monitoring data according to conditions such as type and time; and storing the summarized data into data; and the work of the data application layer comprises that the processed data are applied to displaying and externally providing an interface in a rest manner. The system has the advantages that a system architecture and a real-time running status of the virtualization data center are intuitively displayed; daily virtualization operation and maintenance operations are simplified; the functions such as workload statistic of operation and maintenance staff and life cycle management of the virtual machine are realized; and a cloud calculation environment of an enterprise user can be constructed in combination with a service flow application.
