Abstract

The invention discloses a method for reducing and controlling non-point source pollution of an oriental cherry nursery. The method realizes reduction and control of non-point source pollution of a nursery through annual interplanting of fresh-eaten broad beans and Vicia sativa L. in an oriental cherry nursery. Through use of broad bean sowing, broad bean planting, broad bean harvest, broad bean plant turning and pressing, Vicia sativa L. sowing, Vicia sativa L. turning and pressing and oriental cherry nursery management, based on nitrogen fixation properties of broad beans and Vicia sativa L., the nitrogen content in the soil is increased and the nitrogen application rate in the nursery is reduced. Through reuse of broad bean and Vicia sativa L. plants in fields, soil organic matter content is increased and physicochemical properties of soil are improved. Through rainfall interception, infiltration, retention and utilization performances of broad bean and Vicia sativa L. plants, the water and soil loss of a nursery is reduced. Compared with the conventional management method, the method reduces chemical nitrogen use amount by 40%, improves nursery incomes, increases soil organic matter content, effectively controls soil loss and nitrogen transferable nutrients and reduces non-point source pollution so that sustainable development of an oriental cherry nursery is realized.
