Abstract

The invention discloses an artificial spawning induction method for Trochus pyramis born. The method comprises the steps that (1) Trochus pyramis born parent cowries were put in a breeding pool with culture of benthic diatom for maturity acceleration breeding, the cowries are put into normal-temperature seawater when the water temperature in the breeding pool reaches 25 DEG C or above, and the water temperature is increased gradually through sun exposure and continuous air inflation; and (2) the seawater exposed to sunlight is discharged and replaced by fresh filtered seawater, the water temperature is recovered to the normal temperature, air is inflated indoors and spawning waiting is conducted. The method disclosed by the invention is characterized in that natural temperature differences are utilized; sunlight exposure takes the place of dedicated ultraviolet ray generators and temperature rise devices; an ultraviolet ray induction method and a temperature variation induction method are integrated to induce sperm egg discharge of Trochus pyramis born.
