Abstract

The invention provides a data caching method, equipment and system. In one implementation manner, the data caching method comprises the following steps of: recording access counting information related to each piece of data in a recording period of recording access counting information of data. Wherein the recording period comprises a plurality of recording time slot, recording of the access counting information in a single recording time slot is constrained and the access counting information in a plurality of recording time slots is accumulated; and in response to the fact that the recordingperiod expires, enabling each piece of data to be promoted to a cache storage area on the basis of the access counting information. By utilizing the implementation manner, relatively hot data in a relatively long time can obtain a relatively good change to be prompted to the cache storage area, and meanwhile, the possibility that relatively hot noise data in a short time is promoted can be decreased, so that more effective data cache is realized and cache resources can be utilized more sufficiently.

Description

technical field [0001] The embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the technical field of caching, and more particularly, to a method, device, and system for caching data. Background technique [0002] Hierarchical storage is a technology based on "information lifecycle management" that proposes to store data information through multiple layers. According to this technology, the storage structure generally includes a bottom storage pool, a mid-level cache (such as EMC's FAST Cache), and a high-level system cache (such as a physical dynamic random access memory (DRAM) memory, such as EMC's SPCache). Tier 2 caches such as FAST Cache are mid-tier caches that sit between high-level system caches and low-level storage pools, which were proposed to address cache scalability issues in order to allow storage systems to have more efficient input / output (I / O) response times and I / O processing rates. [0003] In layer 2 caches such as FAST Cache, promotion logic is used, whic...
