The invention discloses an Internet of Things (IoT) communication method and device based on LoRa technology and a storage medium and belongs to the technical field of IoT communication. The method comprises the steps of obtaining the data information sent by an LoRa terminal in a preset transmission rate; determining the maximum transmission rate corresponding to the target signal to noise ratioand the target signal intensity; sending the maximum transmission rate as a first predicted transmission rate to the LoRa terminal; and receiving the data information sent by the LoRa terminal based on the first predicted transmission rate to realize the communication with the LoRa terminal. According to the method, the target signal to noise ratio and the target signal intensity sent by the LoRaterminal are obtained, and the maximum transmission rate corresponding to the target signal to noise ratio and the target signal intensity is taken as the first predicted transmission rate to be sentto the LoRa terminal, so that communication can be carried out on the basis of the first predicted transmission rate, shortening the communication duration and reducing the power consumption of the communication network between an LoRa server and the LoRa terminal.
