Abstract

The invention discloses a mobile ad hoc network-based collaborative caching system. Caches are a common technology for improving data access efficiency. A collaborative cache technology realizes the sharing of cache data among a plurality of nodes and explores the potential of the cache technology. Caches in a mobile ad hoc network confront some basic problems, namely, cache placement, cache discovery and cache replacement. According to the system of the invention, a more efficient adaptive cache placement strategy is provided according to the advantages of two basic caches and on the basis ofthe dynamic changes of the ad hoc network environment; since ad hoc network resources are limited, an existing COOP cache discovery strategy adopts a core node concept, so that an improved E-COOP strategy and a corresponding E-COOP cache replacement strategy are provided; and the adaptive cache placement strategy is matched with the improved E-COOP cache discovery and replacement strategy, and therefore, the system of the invention has significant advantages in query delay, energy loss, data throughput and the like. The system of the invention is applicable to a network environment where no infrastructure is erected, such as a disaster-stricken area, a battlefield and other special environments.
