Abstract

The invention discloses an opportunistic routing algorithm based on partial network coding in a smart grid. According to the invention, the partial network coding technology is integrated on the basisof the opportunistic routing technology in the smart grid-neighborhood network; data packets sent from a source node to a relay node are encoded in arbitrary combining forms; then the encoded packetsare sent to a destination node; and the received encoded packets are decoded to obtain the original packets. Compared with the single opportunistic routing technology, the whole process of the opportunistic routing technology based on the partial network coding to send data packets takes less time; the invention improves the reliability of the network and reduces the average delay of data transmission; and the invention solves the communication performance index problems of low reliability, large average delay, large network overhead, low utilization of wireless channels and low network throughput in the neighborhood network, and improves the overall communication quality of the smart grid neighborhood network.
