The hybrid power system based on the AMT gearbox comprises a first input shaft, a second input shaft, an output shaft, and a shifting mechanism, a first gear set is arranged on the first input shaft, and the first input shaft is connected with an engine through a clutch in a transmission mode; a second gear set is arranged on the second input shaft, and the second input shaft is connected with a motor in a transmission mode; a third gear set is arranged on the output shaft, and the third gear set meshes with the first gear set and the second gear setcorrespondingly; the shifting mechanism comprises a first shifting device and a second shifting device, the first shifting device is capable oftransmitting power of the engine sequentially through the first input shaft, the first gear set, the third gear set and the output shaft, and the second shifting device is capable of transmitting thepower of the motor sequentially through the second input shaft, the second gear set, the third gear set and the output shaft.
