Abstract

The invention provides a quantum key distribution phase encoder / decoder and a corresponding encoding / decoding device and system. The phase encoder / decoder comprises a beam splitter, two polarization orthogonal rotation reflection devices optically coupled with the beam splitter through two arms respectively, and a phase modulator arranged on one of the two arms. One or each of the two reflection devices includes a polarization beam splitter having an input port and two output ports, and is coupled to the corresponding arms through the input port of the polarization beam splitter, two output ports of each polarization beam splitter are optically coupled with each other through polarization maintaining optical fibers comprising odd 90-degree welding points, and optical pulses output by the two output ports of each polarization beam splitter are respectively coupled to a slow axis and a fast axis of the corresponding polarization maintaining optical fiber.
