Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a block generation method and a consensus node. The method comprises the steps that a first consensus node of a block chain initiates a target consensus proposal carrying a first timestamp provided by the first consensus node; and after receiving the target consensus proposal, the second consensus node of the block chain determines a second timestamp basedon the receiving time of the target consensus proposal; the second consensus node checks the first timestamp based on the third timestamp of the local ending block and the second timestamp so as to execute consensus logic on proposed data of the target consensus proposal after the check is passed. If the target consensus proposal reaches the consensus, the first consensus node and the second consensus node generate a newly-added block recording proposed data proposed by the target consensus, and a fourth timestamp of the generated newly-added block is determined at least based on the first timestamp and is not earlier than timestamps of other local blocks of the consensus node to which the newly-added block belongs.
