Abstract

The present invention is directed to novel vaccine compositions and methods for immunising subjects against Mycobacterium avium subspecies paratuberculosis. The invention involves the use of mineral oil adjuvants, or white mineral oil adjuvants, more specifically those having CAS 8042-47-5, CAS 1335203-18-3, CAS 1174522-45-2, CAS 1335203-17-2 (or EC equivalents 232- 455-8, 932-078-5, 934-954-2 and934-956-3, respectively) to reduce lesions or adverse reactions.
