Problems solved by technology

[0004] Although the existing methods can solve the existing problems to a certain extent, the existing research does not consider supporting the mutual cooperation between fog nodes, which leads to the limitation of the overall performance of the network, and does not fully consider the overall fog in the entire network. The possibility of comprehensive cache placement of nodes exists, and there is still room for improvement in the performance optimization of download delays for all users

Embodiment Construction

[0036] The present invention will be described in further detail below through specific examples. It should be understood that the specific examples described here are only used to explain the present invention, not to limit the present invention. In addition, the technical features involved in the various embodiments of the present invention described below can be combined with each other as long as they do not constitute a conflict with each other.

[0037] Genetic algorithm is a global optimization algorithm, it has been verified that it can effectively optimize multi-objective optimization problems, and has good universality. Unlike traditional optimization methods, genetic algorithms do not require knowledge of the properties of the problem. It is widely used to solve NP-hard problems. The genetic algorithm simulates the phenomena of competition, reproduction, crossover and gene mutation in the process of natural selection and natural inheritance. In each iteration, a s...

Abstract

The invention discloses a decision-making method for a Fog-RAN network cache placement problem based on a genetic algorithm. The method comprises the following steps: randomly generating a plurality of different cache decisions of all fog nodes, encoding the cache decisions by adopting binary encoding to obtain an initial population, calculating fitness values of individuals in the initial population, and selecting the individuals by adopting a tournament method to obtain a descendant population; randomly pairing every two individuals in the offspring population to form a pair of parent individuals, crossing the parent individuals according to the pairs to obtain offspring individuals, and then mutating the offspring individuals; and repeating selection, crossover and mutation operations for a plurality of times until the optimal value of the individual fitness of the new population converges, and then decoding the individual corresponding to the optimal value of the individual fitness. Effective decision-making and updating of the fog node content cache are realized, and the average access time delay of the system can be reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of wireless communication, and in particular relates to a decision-making method for a cache placement problem in a fog radio access network (Fog-RAN). Background technique [0002] With the development of new applications in recent years, such as cloud computing, short video and other applications, Internet content and network traffic have further exploded. At the same time, the popularization of mobile networks and smart phones has also made people go online from computers to mobile phones. Mobile data traffic is rapidly increasing, and the demand for low-latency data traffic is also rapidly increasing. Much of this data traffic is generated, processed and consumed at the edge of the wireless network. In response to this trend, Fog-RAN has emerged as a highly promising network architecture that moves storage, computation, and communication functions to the edge of the wireless network. With the gradual m...
