Abstract

The invention relates to a method for carrying out desired services offered by different service providers in a communication terminal, such as a mobile phone, comprising an identification module with several subscriber numbers. In this method the type of incoming or outgoing call is determined. According to the type determined, the desired service is selected among the services offered by a service provider associated with the mobile phone via the service access number stored in the module. For a specific call processing function, a call is made to the service access number of the service provider providing the required service, so that the required service is carried out and charged in different ways, and then the service provided by the service provider is carried out. The invention also relates to a communication terminal and the use of these terminals in different identities, for example as a person, as an employee and as a member of different organisations.
