Abstract

A demodulating apparatus can reduce the power consumption significantly comparing to the conventional one without the reception quality being degraded. The delay profile measuring means(41)is provided in which the delay profile(S41)of the baseband signal(S6)is measured while changing the measuring time for measuring the delay profile of the baseband signal, so that the measuring time can be held down to the minimum with avoiding the degradation of the reception power level. Thereby, the power consumption can be significantly reduced comparing to the conventional one without the reception quality being degraded.
