Abstract

The present invention discloses basic watermark facility, and is one digital work copyright protecting system based on digital watermark. The user purchased legal digital work has two CA signature watermarks embedded, one identifying the publisher and the other identifying the purchaser. When illegal copying is found out with the network detector or memory medium based on movable deputy, the illegal propagator may be determined based these two watermark. The copyright information watermark of the publisher includes the publisher ID and the work ID, the digital fingerprint of the purchaser includes the purchaser ID, and these two watermarks are random sequence produced with the corresponding ID and through CA signature.
