Abstract

An automatic fully-open roof system of a soft-covered multi-span greenhouse which automatically opens or closes the soft covers of each roof of the multi-span greenhouse while controlling the tensions of the support bands that hold the soft covers on the roof. The automatic fully-open roof system has a mounting block (100) to hold both the soft covers (2a) and the support bands (3) at the top of the roof (2); a winding rod (210) which holds a lower end of the soft cover to wind or unwind the soft cover, thus opening or closing the roof; a rod balancing means (300) for guiding the movement of the winding rod while maintaining the horizontality of tote winding rod; and band tension control means (400) for tightening or loosening the support bands, in response to a winding or unwinding operation of the winding rod, thus controlling the tensions of the support bands.
