Abstract

A new type pier structure with liquid bearing is composed of exterior-protected construction, liquid, bracket, pressure sensor and basic. The exterior-protected construction contains metal frame and film with liquid filling inside. The bracket connects with upside structure of bridge from upper, contacts liquid from bottom and closures liquid in exterior-protected construction entirely. Pressure sensor is located on below surface of bracket to monitor hydraulic pressure. The basic is below the exterior-protected construction and appears tree radiation. It can joint to exterior-protected construction as a whole, be composed of metal frame and film or be poured by reinforced concrete. The invention has merits of rational stress, convenient construction, saving materials, reducing deadweight, low cost and long life-span. It can also realize teal-time and long-distance monitoring on working conditions of piers. Monitoring data accumulated after operating have great value for calculating bridge and perfecting design theories.
