Abstract

The system for monitoring flood of reservoir includes node cluster in sub area, electronic water gauge, RS232 interface circuit, terminal data processor (TDP), sensing node, and terminal concourse node (TCN). Rainfall sensing nodes and electronic water gauges in the node cluster in sub area transmits collected rainfall data and water level data to concourse node in the place located respectively.Then, the data are fed back to TCN in data center of flood terminals according to flooding mode or mechanism of geographical energy active route (GEAR) along direction of data transmission grads. Flood of reservoir is obtained in real time after processing by TDP. The invention can collect rainfall amount of reservoir area in real time, water level, and information of runoff. Advantages are: reliable communication, good real time performance, accurate measure, minor power waste, and low cost.
