Abstract

The invention discloses a method of shortening the cultural period of the Takifugu flavidus, which includes the following steps: (1) selecting the Takifugu flavidus and the Takifugu rubripes at age between 3 and 5 in proportion of 2 to 1 in every March and April for parent fish induced mature culturing; (2) induced breeding and artificial egg collecting by using Luteinizing Releasing Hormone Analog (LRH-A); (3) artificial inseminating the Takifugu flavidus ovum with the Takifugu rubripes sperm; (4) fish fry culturing; (5) culturing in the outdoor earth pond when the body length of the fish fry is more than 3 cm; (6) culturing the fish fries in the fish fry room through the winter; (7) moving the overwintering fish to the outdoor fishpond when the outdoor water temperature is at more than 12 DEG C and going on the market after about five months' culture. The experimental culture result of the method shows that the average weight of the fish reaches more than 0.35 kg, wherein the maximum weight is 0.7 kg; the cultural period is shortened more than one time. The method reduces the culture cost by a big margin and greatly increases the Takifugu flavidus fish product culture benefit.
