Abstract

The invention discloses a method for symbiosis of urban water system and waterfront greening plants and a system thereof. A water pump equipped with an electric relay is arranged inside a pump well, one end of the water pump is connected with the water system, the other end of the water pump is connected with the high end of a compound vegetation zone, a low end drainage ditch is connected with the water system, and the pump well and water supply pipes are embedded below the compound vegetation zone. The method comprises the following steps of selecting arbor, shrub and cover plants capable of effectively absorbing pollutants according to the composition and concentration of pollutants in the polluted water body in the water system for constructing the compound vegetation zone, pumping water from the water pump for irrigating the vegetation zone and supplying plants water, applying the pollutants in the water to supply plants nutrients, recycling the water with relieved pollution level after filtering with the vegetation zone to the water system, repeating the above steps until the water system pollution is controlled and treated.
