A technique schemeincludes steps as follows: confirming signal value range and a relationship table between the transmitted range and quantification grade value according with quantification equation of brightness andcolor difference signal; calculating for obtaining the transmitted signal value data file according with theory that brightness signal in the color strip signal is equal to maximum value and minimum value of the brightness signal, the color difference signal is equal to zero and adding color mixing, and SDTV encoding equation; writing the data file into a memorizer; reading the data file according with a scanning standard of the television system, and transmitting the data file into a physical signal for detecting the wide color range SDTV system. The technique provided by the invention is mainly used for detecting HDTV digital television system.
