Abstract

The Morphine has the activity of promoting the proliferation of nerve cells and can inhibit nerve cell injuries caused by a Parkinson toxic substance MPP+(1-Methyl-4-Phenylpyridiniumion). Proved by a protein immunoblotting method, the Morphine can induce the expression level of thioredoxin in the PC12 cells, thus the Morphine for protecting the nerve cells from injuries of MPP+ toxicity is related to the induction of the expression of the thioredoxin.
