Abstract
The invention discloses a high-voltage constant current source for glow, belonging to the field of metal material spectroscopy analysis instruments and comprising three parts, i.e. an excitation control system, a negative high voltage generation system and a constant current control system. The excitation control system is connected with the negative high voltage generation system by two sets of optical fiber transmit-receive terminals and two optical fibers, and the excitation control system transfers pulse signals into optical signals and then transmits the optical signals to the negative high voltage generation system when the glow excites samples; and the negative high voltage generation system and the constant current control system are directly connected by four leads resisting high voltage of 5kV and one shielding conductor. Direct current high voltage generated by the negative high voltage system and a glow source are connected in series for exciting the samples. The constant current control system samples current flowing through a glow load and transmits the sampled current to a feedback control circuit to control the current so as to realize the constant current. In the invention, a Grimm type glow discharge cavity excites a metal material by using the high-voltage constant current source, the excitation is stable and reliable, and the shape and the appearance of a sputtering pit are normal. The current is continuously adjusted within the working range of 0-50mA, the working range of voltage is -2,500-0V, and the precision of the current can be up to 1%.
