Abstract

The invention discloses a multi-user optical wireless two-way data communication system and a method based on a lighting white light LED. The system comprises one access controller which is connected with an external network, a plurality of white light LED lighting light sources which are connected with the access controller, a plurality of optical detectors which are connected with the access controller, a plurality of adapters and a plurality of pieces of user equipment which are connected with the adapters and send and receive data through the adapters; wherein the access controller and the adapters are provided with optical wireless communication protocol modules; and the optical wireless communication protocol modules control data frames to be transmitted from a downlink which is from the white light LED lighting light sources to the adapters to an uplink which is from the adapters to the optical detectors.
