The IP core comprises a sink module, a three-order RGB2XYZ parallel processing module, an XYZ2xyz normalized module, a three-order color gamut amending parallel processing module, an xyz2XYZ de-normalized module, a three-order XYZ2RGB parallel processing module and a source module which are connected in sequence; and the other input end of the three-order parallel processing module is connected with a three-order matrix operation module. The IP core can be used for expanding the color gamut of a video source signal by using fewer hardware resources, has reusable codes and configurable parameters, and can be applied to various wide color gamut display equipment and can be compatible with a video processing circuit and the traditional video processing IP core.
