[0021] A soil conditioner for reducing cadmium bioavailability in acidic heavy metal polluted soil of the present invention, the soil conditioner comprises red mud and zinc fertilizer. The red mud is the residue produced by Zhengzhou China Great Wall Aluminum Group in the combined aluminum smelting process. The red mud has a pH value of 12.2 and contains 39.9% of calcium oxide (all represent mass fractions unless otherwise specified), and contains 21.7% of silicon oxide, 9.2% of iron oxide, 5.9% of aluminum oxide and 0.4% of potassium oxide, 0.09mg / kg of cadmium, 173.2mg / kg of lead, 73.8mg / kg of zinc, and various harmful substances (such as Cadmium, lead, zinc) content is within the range of the second grade standard value of the national soil quality standard. The zinc fertilizer in the soil conditioner adopts zinc sulfate common fertilizer (zinc sulfate heptahydrate). The mass ratio of red mud and zinc fertilizer in the soil conditioner is 50:1.
