Abstract

By the method, a user can designate an arbitrary target lighting environment by inputting lighting intensity and frequency spectrum, and the human eye vision system perception effect of a scene shown in a source image in the target lighting environment can be automatically synthesized. In the method, color frequency spectrum is reestablished according to the source image, and response of the retina cell under the source lighting environment is calculated; the adapting situation of the retina cell in the target light environment is simulated according to measurement data, and response of the adapted retina cell is calculated; and finally, the image is non-uniformly blurred by using a two-sided filter to make an acutance loss effect in the target lighting environment.
