Abstract

The invention relates to a pesticide composition containing pyridaben and spirotetramat. The pesticide composition is a wettable powder, suspending agent and water dispersible granule composition which is prepared from the pyridaben, the spirotetramat, and aids such as an emulsifier, a wetting agent, a dispersant and a filling agent. The invention also relates to a method for controlling vegetable Bemisia tabaci by using the pyridaben and spirotetramat composition. The pesticide composition is particularly effective to adults and nymphs of Bemisia tabaci when the pyridaben and the spirotetramat are mixed in a ratio of (1:2)-(2:1). The pesticide composition is used for controlling the vegetable Bemisia tabaci; and the pesticide composition can also be widely used for cotton, paddy rice, tea trees and tangerines, is used for controlling Bemisia tabaci, aphids, thrips, rice plant hoppers, Empoasca flavescens and red spiders, and has high application value and remarkable economic and social benefits.

Description
