Abstract

The invention relates to Toltrazuril injection and a preparation method thereof. Every 100ml of Toltrazuril injection contains the following raw materials: 1-2g of Toltrazuril, 2-5g of hydrogenated castor oil, 9-25ml of N-methyl-pyrrolidone, 0.5-1ml of 1,2-propylene glycol and 5% of polyvinylpyrrolidone aqueous solution which complements the solution to be 100ml. By means of the addition of formaldehyde carboxy glycerin or 1,2-propylene glycol in the Toltrazuril injection, the medicine can be slowly released to the attack part of the disease during degradation and absorption, so that toxic reaction of the whole body is obviously reduced, and simultaneously effective medicine concentration at the local position can be maintained. The Toltrazuril injection prepared by the method is good in injection performance, not apt to block, strong in stability, not apt to layer, small in toxic reaction of the whole body due to partial injection, and capable of selectively improving medicine concentration of the attacked part and strengthening curing effect. The Toltrazuril injection is convenient to use compared with an orally-taken preparation and good in effect when used for preventing and curing coccidiosis of animals such as chickens, sheep and rabbits.
