Abstract

The invention discloses an experimental device for testing efficiency of a water turbine for a cooling tower. The experimental device comprises a water pool, a main circulation pipeline, a circulation water pump, a flow measurement device, a pressure measurement device, a torque measurement device, a speed measurement device and a tail water diffusion device, wherein the circulation water pump and the flow measurement device are arranged on the main circulation pipeline; the pressure measurement device, the torque measurement device, the speed measurement device and the tail water diffusion device are arranged at the position of a water outlet of the main circulation pipeline; and a water inlet of the main circulation pipeline is communicated with the water pool. After the experimental device is installed on the water turbine, flow of the circulation water pump is adjusted through an electric device to simulate circulation water systems under different working conditions; the flow measurement device and the pressure measurement device are utilized respectively to measure flow of water in the pipeline and water outlet pressure; the torque measurement device and the speed measurement device are utilized respectively to measure torque and rotation speed of the water turbine; and then actual efficiency of the water turbine to be tested is obtained.
